Why Turtle Taekwon-Do?

What do you like most in TKD? Competing in different tournaments

around the UK.

What do you like least in TKD? 3 step sparring

Favourite techniques: side kick and jumping punches in free sparring,

elbows and knees in one step sparring.

Hours spent in a Dojang per week: 4 hours minimum

Hours spent training (any training) per week: depends if there is an

important competition coming up. If there is then anything between 4

and 10 hours a week.

Why did you start TKD? To keep fit, be more confident and learn how to

defend myself

Goals in TKD: To win gold in the ITF world championships in Canada

Greatest achievement in TKD to date: winning a silver medal in the ITF

world championships 2007.

Pets: 5 dogs, which are 3 Dalmatians 1 Springer spaniel and 1 weimaraner

30 tortoises, 4 koi fish and 1 guinea pig

Other interests: Running, going to gigs, spending time with my friends

and Boyfriend.

Additional details(e.g. Instructors course taken, Umpire or Referee):

I am an assistant instructor at Swindon Taekwondo gaining my

instructors certificate in October 2006. I am also a qualified umpire.

I currently hold a silver medal in the ITF world championships for the

ladies Black belt light weight  category in 2007.
