Why Start A Martial Art?

So why do people start a Martial Art?

They want to get fit.

They want to be Bruce Lee/ Jackie Chan.

They want to learn how to defend themselves.

They want to improve their self-confidence.

They want to learn how to punch and kick.

They want to get strong.

Their mum makes them: to improve their self-discipline and concentration.

They want to be flexible.

They are bored and need something to do.

They’ve always wanted to do a Martial Art.

They want to discover the mysteries of the East.

Most of the above are achievable, but we can’t make you into Bruce Lee or Jackie Chan!

You CAN:

Have fun

Learn realistic self-defence

Improve your self-confidence

Improve your stamina & strength

Increase flexibility

Be more assertive

Improve co-ordination

You’ll be amazed at what you can achieve and we can help you.

You get out of your training exactly what you put in.

If you strive to achieve your best then you will achieve your best.

To train in TaekwonDo you do not have to be superman or be able to do the splits.

Your training is for your own self-development; you will learn something new and every week you will get better.
